When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password hash. You may optionally provide a company name.
We store the URLs you shorten, the custom slugs you create, your redirect settings, and any tags or campaign labels you apply.
For each click on your short links, we record: timestamp, referring URL, browser, operating system, device type, approximate country (derived from anonymized IP), and language. We do not store full IP addresses beyond 24 hours for abuse prevention.
We collect information about how you use our dashboard — pages visited, features used — to improve our product. This is aggregated and not linked to identifiable individuals.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.

By creating an account or using any part of the 2RST.IO service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.
2RST.IO provides a web-based link management platform including URL shortening, analytics, QR code generation, branded domains, and API access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate registration information. Account sharing with unauthorized parties is prohibited. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree not to use 2RST.IO to distribute malware, conduct phishing, commit fraud, link to illegal content, send spam, run deceptive redirect campaigns, or violate any applicable law. See our full Acceptable Use Policy for complete details.
You retain ownership of all links and data you create through the service. By using 2RST.IO, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely to provide the service. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your links or content.
We aim for 99.9% uptime. Planned maintenance is announced in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including third-party infrastructure failures.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle. You may cancel at any time — your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide pro-rated refunds except where required by law.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, 2RST.IO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate our policies, with or without notice depending on severity. Accounts used for spam, phishing, malware distribution, or illegal purposes will be terminated immediately.
We may update these terms. We will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by applicable law. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then binding arbitration if necessary.

We monitor for violations proactively and respond to abuse reports. Violations result in: immediate link deactivation, account suspension, permanent ban, reporting to law enforcement where applicable.

Security
How we protect your data and maintain a secure infrastructure.

2RST.IO operates on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure with redundant systems across multiple availability zones. Our architecture is designed for both high availability and strong data protection.
We use a minimal set of trusted subprocessors. All subprocessors are bound by data processing agreements (DPAs) and operate under equivalent security standards. A current list is available upon request at privacy@2rst.io.
We maintain a documented incident response procedure. In the event of a data breach affecting users, we will: contain and investigate the incident, notify affected users within 72 hours (per GDPR requirements), notify relevant supervisory authorities where required, document and remediate the root cause.
We conduct regular internal security reviews and penetration testing. Security findings are prioritized and remediated according to severity.
If you discover a security vulnerability in our platform, please report it responsibly to security@2rst.io. We do not pursue legal action against researchers who follow responsible disclosure principles.
